
Sara Demlow
LPMT, MT-BC, Neurologic Music Therapist Fellow (NMT-F)®
Sara is a licensed and nationally board-certified music therapist with a diverse background in the field. She earned her degree in Music Therapy from Georgia College and State University and completed a 6-month internship at Therabeat, Inc. With nearly four years of experience, Sara has worked in a variety of clinical settings. She began her career in behavioral health, focusing on helping teens and adults improve their social-emotional skills. Later, she joined Jacob’s Ladder, a school for students with disabilities, where she gained valuable experience working with individuals who have sensorimotor, cognitive, and behavioral challenges.
In addition to her practical experience, Sara is committed to advancing her knowledge and skills. She holds accreditation in Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT)® and recently enhanced her knowledge by becoming a Neurologic Music Therapy Fellow (NMT-F)®. She is also in the process of earning her certification as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Music Therapist (NICU-MT) and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Social Work at Boston University.
