Blair Bass
LPMT, MT-BC, NICU-MT
Blair is a licensed and board-certified music therapist with a diverse background in specializations and populations. Originally from Orlando, she holds a degree in music therapy from Florida State University, where she also completed her neonatal intensive care music therapy (NICU-MT) training. Her other school experiences range from inclusive pre-K groups to general medicine.
Blair finished her 6-month internship at Trustbridge Hospice in South Florida, gaining invaluable experience in end-of-life and spiritual care. From there, she went on to work in medical music therapy at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL for several years. While there, she had the opportunity to treat patients in trauma, burns, neurology, oncology, cardiopulmonary, neonates, and palliative care.
Blair grew up in a musical family and has always loved the way music can connect and heal people of all ages and cultures. She participated in marching, jazz and concert bands throughout all of her schooling and is passionate about sharing the power of music with others. Outside of music, she loves to rock climb, travel, cheer on FSU sports and hang out with her cat Mozzarella.
