Inclusive Theatre: Roswell Players

Every Fall, schools around Georgia begin their theatre program rehearsals. Unfortunately, not many of those programs are available to welcome teens or adults with neurodivergent, learning or physical difficulties. That is where Roswell Players at Perfect Harmony Health comes in!

Roswell Players is a grant-funded program that offers teens and young adults the opportunity to perform on stage in a multimedia production. The board-certified and licensed Neurologic Music Therapists (NMT)® at PHH host the weekly program to adapt and support each actor’s needs. The actors will engage in social activities, musical performances, and more as they prep for their show. With the support of the therapists, each individual actor’s strengths are taken into account in order to provide them with a successful outcome.

In the 2022-2023 season, the Roswell Players cast performed Peter Pan Jr. featuring recognizable numbers such as You Can Fly and I’ll Never Grow Up! The black box theatre at The Art Place was packed with family members, friends, therapists and more to come support the actors on their big debut. The show was, of course, a huge success!

Peter Pan defeats the evil Captain Hook in order to save Neverland and the Lost Boys!

Registration has officially opened for the 2023-2024 season and has limited availability. Perfect Harmony Health welcomes all actors and actresses with all abilities (no theatre experience necessary)! The program will begin in September and end with an exciting show of Schoolhouse Rock Live Jr. in April. For more information on joining the cast this year, visit here!
