Taylor Luiz

LPMT, MT-BC, Neurologic Music Therapist (NMT)®

Taylor is a licensed and nationally board-certified music therapist. She is certified as a Neurologic Music Therapist (NMT)®, and has begun her training to become a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Music Therapist (NICU-MT). Taylor is a recent BMT graduate from Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, Georgia. During her previous music therapy experiences during undergrad, she worked closely with children with intellectual disabilities (ages 2nd grade to 5th grade), older adults at The Cottages of Milledgeville at Woodland Terrace, children of various ages at the Montessori Academy, and in the skilled nursing unit at Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin.

Taylor completed her 6-month internship at Perfect Harmony Health and is excited to begin her career at the place that formed her into the therapist she is today! During her internship, she got to know many of the diverse clientele that PHH serves and is excited to continue her passion and love for working with our clients.

Taylor has always loved music and accredits it to how it has brought people together. She believes that music serves as a way to connect others and to provide a sense of refuge. Music therapy has moved her in ways that are inexplicable and she hopes to serve as a vessel for positive experiences as a music therapist at PHH.

In her free time, Taylor loves to craft, spend time with her cat, Furguson, and have jam sessions with her family and friends. She also loves to explore new places and spend time outdoors.
